David A. Eberly

Focus: Civil Litigation

Dave’s passion – for his clients and community – shines through in his professional life. Whether fighting for his clients and advising them, both in and out of the courtroom, or serving his community as a whole, Dave puts his concerns for the persons he serves first.

As a trial lawyer for over 20 years, Dave has represented individuals, small businesses, and Fortune 100 companies in virtually every trial forum conceivable. Dave focuses his practice on civil litigation, including a particular emphasis on standing up for employees who have been wrongfully fired or mistreated. And while his passion for justice fuels his effectiveness as a courtroom advocate, his experience and his empathy enable him to provide sage advice to clients (both big and small) in an effort to reach the best, quickest, and most cost effective result – sometimes even short of litigation — depending on the situation. He understands the emotional toll litigation can take, particularly for those who have been wrongfully terminated, and realizes that his job is not just of advocate, but of counselor, as well.

A Greater Cincinnati native, Dave’s service to his community almost matches his service to his clients. From an early age, his parents instilled in him the need to “give back.” He was one of the area’s youngest elected officials, when, at 28 years old, he won a contested seat on Madeira, Ohio’s city council. Since then he has served on Madeira’s City Planning Commission, co-chaired Madeira City School’s successful levy campaign, and served on Madeira School Board’s Planning Commission.  He has the honor to serve as President of the Madeira School Foundation as well as President of the board of the Down Syndrome Association of Greater Cincinnati.

When not serving his clients and community, Dave enjoys spending time with his family and devoutly following his Cincinnati Reds, for better or worse.
